Howden School & Technology College

This year our theme was based around the Shakespeare classic, Romeo and Juliet. It is a modern day adaptation of two families joined together through the grief of their losses and finally showing their true colours. Students wanted to incorporate different styles of dance and we decided that this would be best portrayed through the story of the Montagues and Capulets. Altogether Howden School achieved four awards, which included Performers Choice, Best Video, Best Drama Skills and the Student Leadership Award of drugs awareness. Congratulations to all who participated in this prestigious event and gave up so much time to stage a truly spectacular performance.

We would also like to thank Air Products of Hull for their kind donation to Howden School. Without sponsorship we would struggle to run events such as Rock Challenge and we appreciate their support.
